We will work together to understand what’s happening with alcohol, drugs, sex, food or any other activity that you’d like to reduce or you've struggled with in the past.
By focusing on connection with other people and building a stronger support network you can take your life back.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to reducing substance use, addiction or any other change you’d like to make for yourself. Together we'll create an approach that works for your unique situation.
Maybe you don’t think you’re struggling, but others say they’re worried about you. Are there things you need to escape from? Feelings you need to numb out? We'll explore that together so you can decide if you want to make any changes.
Treatment That Works for You
Some people are looking to cut back their drinking a bit. They don’t want to completely stop, but they’d like better control over how much or how often they drink. Counseling can be really helpful in that process.
Others may be looking to stop using completely and might have no idea where to even begin. Again, therapy is a good place to explore your options.
My guess is you’ve experienced plenty of judgment from other people and most of all yourself.
My job is to help you quiet that useless noise and figure out what’s important for you at this point in your journey. There is no “right” or “wrong,” it’s what works best for you. And you don't have to figure it out alone.
