Ideally, therapy will help you to become clear on what it is you want out of life and how you can make that happen for yourself. We’ll do a lot of work on helping you identify and speak about your wants, needs and feelings. Therapy can help you have stronger relationships, reduce the need for harmful coping skills and feel more fulfilled and connected in your own life.
Before we meet, I will have you fill out some brief paperwork that will give me an overview of what may be bringing you in for support. On the first meeting, we will begin to get to know each other and we’ll decide if it would be a good idea to work together. My office is on the top floor of an old Victorian. In the waiting room you will find a selection of teas and water and I encourage you to make yourself comfortable.
I use an online practice management system so that you can enter and save your payment information yourself in the secure customer portal. You can also pay each session with any major credit card, cash or check.
My fees for individual therapy are $125 per 50 minute sessions. For couples therapy my rate is $150 per 50 minute session.
I have a number of sliding scale openings. If you're interested in working together and the above fees are out of your budget, please reach out to me and we can try and work something out.
If you wish to use your insurance to help with the cost of therapy, I will provide a statement for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement. I am not on any preferred provider or managed-care lists and thus am considered an out-of-network provider. If you plan to use your insurance, I suggest that you contact your provider and ask about your coverage in advance.
